See & Hear Our Work In Action

The sound element of every Living Paintings pack is just as important as the tactile image, if not more so, and the following short excerpts give a taste of what to expect.

For Adults

His Royal Highness Prince Charles talking about the Royal Collection
Album 4 The Works of Monet
The Water - Lily Pond

At least 10 topics are explored in detail in each Album and each audio commentary is 15 minutes long. In addition to the description of the raised image, the speaker provides historical, biographical and anecdotal information.

For Children

Living Paintings Topical and Teacher Resource Packs each cover at least 12 images relating to the subject being explored. Music is very popular with blind and partially sighted children. In addition to the audio commentary, music and sound effects add atmosphere and interest.

In Living Picture books the audio commentary not only guides the fingers over the feely pictures but also describes the illustrations on each page.
