Felicity Moffat has been training hard since Summer 2011 for a cycle ride from London to Paris between September 5th and September 8th 2012. Over the 4 days, Felicity will cycle 300 miles, all funds she raises will be donated to Living Paintings.
Felicity comments:
“I love the fact that raising money for a small charity can make a huge difference. I know from my interaction with Living Paintings what a great job it does and how much donations will be appreciated”
To prepare for this 300 mile challenge, Felicity goes for one long bike ride and two to three short rides a week plus regular spin classes. Felicity has also been stocking up on plenty of carbohydrates!
She tells a funny story of the day she bumped into a man on a bike at the bottom of a very steep hill. The man asked for directions and Felicity replied “You probably want to go anywhere other than up that hill!” only to find out he was from Alpe D’Huez so rather rapidly disappeared up the hill in front of her!
Felicity will cycle the 300 miles with her sock monkey mascot (pictured right) kindly donated by Totally Homemade. Click here to join the competition to name the sock monkey
