Glastonbury Festival – the essential glamping kit
June 25, 2014

Camilla, our CEO, is heading to a field in the south west  Рyes Glastonbury Festival is calling.

Here’s a sneak peek into Camilla’s essential glamping kit bag….

beaded bag with festival essentials

Camilla loves this pretty ethnic beaded bag for its hippie chic vibe, plus it’s quite roomy.¬† Buy similar at Accessorize

Don’t forget to pack …

Dry shampoo – for clean hair in a shake and spritz!

Water – lots of it. Interchange with Somerset’s finest apple juice!

Suntan lotion – we live in hope that the sun shines…maybe take some self-tan too.

Face wipes – for keeping up appearances, wiping away mud and drunken tears, useful for hands, armpits and probably other things too.

Eye mask – for when you need to get some rest during daylight hours. Pack some ear plugs too, in case Metallica (love them) isn’t your thang.

waterproof poncho

It always rains at Glastonbury – doesn’t it? Liz sneakily tried on Camilla’s black and white dogtooth poncho whilst she was in a meeting. It’s stylish AND waterproof = glamping must-have. Camilla bought her Reisenthel poncho on Amazon

Wear with wellingtons – loving this glossy wetlook pair from Hunter

Red LED storm lantern

When the stars come out, light the way with this retro storm lantern. Remember take loads of batteries to keep the LED light glowing. Buy similar at Scouting or Cotswold Outdoor

These pretty rainbow windmills will spin in the breeze (or stormy gales) plus they’ll guide the way to your tent and stop you tripping over tent pegs or guy ropes.

For those of you enjoying the delights of Glastonbury Festival from afar Liz really rates the BBC website coverage hosted by our volunteer and friend Lauren Laverne.
