It’s thanks to organisations like BBC Children in Need that we’re able to help children all over the UK experience the magic of books. Two years ago, Children in Need featured the story of one of our young library members and how our Touch to See books helped her rediscover her love of reading.
Introduced by singer Ellie Goulding, Tayen’s film saw mum Kali talking about how Living Paintings became a lifeline for Tayen and the family. Watch the video above or click here to find out more about Tayen’s heartwarming story.
This year, we’re back on the regional and national live shows with stories from two more library members, Ted and Fred.
Find out how Living Paintings, funded by Children in Need has impacted their lives by tuning in to BBC1 on Friday 17th November at 7.30pm, and the Chris Evans Breakfast Show Monday to Friday.
