I hope you’ve enjoyed a happy summer, ours has been busy! In response to continued requests we’ve been hard at work developing a fantastic series of Touch to See books all about Science for Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. Look out for their arrival on our library shelves in coming months.
As ever, thank you to all those who make our work possible.
Volunteering at Living Paintings
Young volunteer Emilie talks about her Living Paintings experience.
We’re proud to announce that David Melling’s lovable character Hugless Douglas returns in a new Living Picture Book for blind and partially sighted children. To celebrate we have launched the Great Cake Bake Challenge.
“I realised I had no light in my life in two ways – I was blind and I was depressed.” Lucy talks about her personal experience with sight loss.
Wild About Bushcraft
Musician, presenter and author Cerys Matthews was in the studio recently recording tracks for Wild About Bushcraft. As co-founder of the Good Life Experience festival, Cerys is passionate about exploring the great outdoors and was delighted to support this new title for teens. Packed with ideas for wild camping and outdoor activities, Wild About Bushcraft will inspire young people to get out and explore the natural world.
