Our Volunteers’ Week coffee morning was sup-herb!
June 21, 2017

On Weds 7th June, we held a special coffee morning for our in-house volunteers to mark National Volunteers’ Week and to say thank you for their time, outstanding commitment and dedication to Living Paintings.

We decorated our production room with balloons and banners, and served our volunteers with copious amounts of cake and coffee! As a gift to show our appreciation, we wrapped up herbs (kindly donated by local garden centres) and included messages of thanks on lolly pop sticks.

Staff at Living Paintings weren’t the only ones who wanted to say thank you to our volunteers. Several library members put together video messages, which we then showed to our volunteers on the day. The videos even included a message from a very special celebrity guest!
