Peppa Pig audio and tactile books now in our library
June 30, 2015

We are delighted to announce that two audio and tactile books featuring children’s favourite, Peppa Pig, are now available in our library.

The Story of Peppa Pig by Neville Astley and Mark Baker is the perfect introduction to Peppa and her family – Mother, Father and baby brother, George.  It tells the tale of a loveable, slightly bossy, little pig named Peppa who loves to jump in muddy puddles and is always there to help her little brother when he forgets his wellies or loses his favourite toy. The bold, colourful illustrations and simple Braille text make this the perfect book for pre-school children.

In Peppa Pig Goes Swimming we join Peppa and her family at the swimming pool.  George is a bit nervous at first but he’s soon splashing in the water with his sister and their friends, the Rabbit family.  This book is very helpful to encourage blind and partially sighted children who may be anxious about new experiences such as going swimming for the first time.
