Last week, we welcomed two new members of staff to the Living Paintings Team. Say hello to Alison and Rachel!
Hello, my name is Alison Lockyear and I joined Living Paintings in November 2017.
I live in Burghclere with my husband, daughter and cocker spaniel, Tara.
For many years I worked at a local sports and leisure club as rackets coordinator, overseeing the running of the tennis programme, indoor tennis centre and teams.
I have recently provided administration support for Ignition Tennis, who deliver junior and adult coaching to many schools and clubs in the area.
I enjoy playing competitive tennis and love to walk in the beautiful countryside we are surrounded by.
I’m really enjoying meeting the library volunteers and looking forward to being a part of the Living Painting team.
My name is Rachel and I am the new Fundraising Manager at Living Paintings.
I live in Basingstoke with my husband and little girl. I have worked in fundraising for nearly 10 years for a range of health and disability charities. Most recently I was at the Macular Society. As an avid reader myself, I am excited to raise funds so that more blind and visually impaired children and adults can experience Living Paintings’ unique books.
It will be a pleasure to meet the volunteers, donors and fundraisers that make Living Paintings’ work possible.
