A New Year and new books
January 12, 2016

Hello everyone. Maria here. Happy New Year. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Truthfully, I was quite happy to get back to normal again!

I am sure many of you have now organised your club’s schedule of activities for 2016. I hope you’ve also ordered or reserved your Book Club packs. You may have found that quite a few of our packs are very popular. Our most borrowed packs are Monet & van Gogh’s Love of Flowers, A Walk Along the Riverbank, Hunting By Night and Mysterious Women. One pack that is not so heavily borrowed is the one on the Olympic and Paralympic Games. However with the Olympics soon upon us I can see these flying off the shelves too, so do place your order early.

The Touch to See Book Club programme is approaching its third year. The library has grown and we are delighted to report that additional titles have been published. Early in 2016 we’ll be publishing three exciting new titles : The Night Sky; Rock ‘n’ Roll Years and Culture Mix. More details will follow so keep checking the Touch to See Book Club Discovery Hub.

Don’t forget, all we ask from the wonderful Book Club Leaders and members is your review on the packs. How did you get on with it? What did you like the most? Did it inspire you to do another activity such as creating a wonderful collage.

To give you inspiration, here are pictures created by some of the Clubs during 2015.
