Bags of Help for Living Paintings with Tesco
January 8, 2019

We’re thrilled to have been selected by Tesco for their ‘Bags of Help’ scheme, as one of their local community partners. A token collection will be taking place at the Pinchington Lane store in Newbury. This scheme gives community projects, such as ourselves, grants of up to £4,000. This money will help so many blind and visually impaired people access our free postal library of tactile and audio Touch-to-See books.

A token collection in a Tesco supermarket

You’ll be able to vote for us in the Pinchington Lane store until 28th February 2019. So if you’re shopping in Newbury, please don’t forget to ask for a blue token to drop in the box for Living Paintings! The more tokens we collect, the more chance we have of receiving the maximum grant!

Not based in Newbury? This scheme runs all across the country, so perhaps you could nominate Living Paintings at your local supermarket? After all, every little helps!
