We can only achieve what we do with the invaluable support provided by our team of over 300 volunteers. Volunteers contribute a breadth of knowledge, experience and skills that hugely enhances the service we offer, and help us make every penny we receive work hard for our 10,000 library members.
Our current team of 300 volunteers do a variety of tasks for us either in our office or in their homes. They include people who are sighted and visually impaired, of all ages, including children who test packs for us prior to final production.
Volunteers currently assist us in the following areas:

- Painting the raised images or feely pictures
- Compiling and repairing packs
