The National Literacy Trust’s #favchildrenslit list
August 1, 2017

To celebrate her 70th birthday in July, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall joined forces with The National Literacy Trust to come up with a list of #favouritechildrenslit. They asked children from schools all over the UK to recommend their favourite books to be included on the list; the 70 most popular titles would then be given to 70 primary schools in specially-designed bookshelves.

Our library of Touch to See books for blind and partially sighted children includes several of the top 70 so if your child’s favourite is on the list, you too can join in with this wonderful opportunity to inspire reading for pleasure.
