If you’re a teacher whose blind and partially sighted pupils are mad about dinosaurs, then you must visit our Dino Discovery Hub.
It’s packed full of fact files and resources such as recommended books and movies; ideas for places to visit and arts and crafts suggestions. There’s also an interview with renowned archaeologist, Phil Harding, who talks about what sparked his interest in dinosaurs.
The Discovery Hub supports our two new Touch to See Dinosaurs ROAR! books – Triassic Rocks and Jurassic Planet. Suitable for 11 -14 year olds this journey through the Triassic and Jurassic periods encounters carnivorous creatures, lumbering sauropods, armour-plated giants and tiny but deadly hunters. The Touch to See images of dinosaurs, including Diplodocus, Stegosaurus and Plateosaurus, are accompanied by atmospheric audio guides with special effects and music.
They are crammed with useful information about the anatomy of dinosaurs, recent discoveries, their diet and how they hunted. There’s also the chance to explore the prehistoric landscape with raised images of a fern, volcano, fossil and dinosaur nest. Order them now from our free postal library.
