Help blind children read the new Elmer book by donating #PoundsForPatches!
For every £40 raised we’ll colour in a patch!
Elmer fans will be stomping to bookshops on 6th September 2018 to get their copy of David McKee’s latest book, Elmer’s Walk. But what if you’re visually impaired? How do you enjoy this wonderful new story? Well, this is where Living Paintings’ free library of tactile books for blind children come in.
We want to make sure no blind or partially sighted child misses out by co-publishing a Touch to Seeversion of Elmer’s Walk on the very same day! Our uniquely adapted books include braille and colourful tactile pictures bound into the original published book, accompanied by an audio guide.
