Switch over to BBC One on Christmas Day for yet another heartwarming tale from the dynamic duo, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. An animated version of The Snail and the Whale is this year’s big family feature from the BBC with the voices of Rob Brydon and Sally Hawkins. Adapted for the small screen, the story follows a tiny snail who goes on an amazing journey by hitching a ride on the tail of a huge humpback whale.

Our Touch to See version of this hugely popular title has just hit our library shelves meaning blind and partially sighted children can now meet the book’s lovable characters ahead of the Christmas Day TV treat. Click here to place your order and get your festive reading/TV viewing sorted!
