Lovely feedback from one of our library members
May 5, 2017

We recently received a letter from a member who had borrowed album 31, A History of the Teddy Bear from our library. In it, she described how the book’s audio and tactile images evoked many happy memories of her childhood when she, and her brother, read Rupert the Bear stories, as well as remembering all the times she read Winnie the Pooh and Paddington books to her sons.

“Thank you so much for lending me this beautiful album. It brought back so many memories of my own childhood when I enjoyed the stories of Rupert Bear, a firm favourite of my brother’s…

It was so comforting to be able to remember such wonderful memories with such old favourites.”
