Young library member learning braille with the help of our books
June 18, 2018

We regularly post feedback from our library members as it’s always nice to share something nice, isn’t it? Plus, if you’re new to Living Paintings, it might just help you find out a little more about what it is we do and more importantly, why.

This note came in from a parent with a little girl just starting off on her journey into reading braille. We’re touched that at such a young age, our books are already making such a difference to her – and mum too.

Dear Living Paintings,

Thank you so much for this recent box of books. Although Elspeth’s braille is not quite at the level of being able to read them herself she gets a real kick out of reading the simple words that she can manage and always enjoys the textured pictures and mum’s storytelling :)

Your continued efforts are much appreciated.

Best wishes,

Claire and Elspeth
